What we're looking for

Join the SpendLab team and make an impact by helping organizations recover/prevent overpayments. As a Frontend Engineer at SpendLab, you will play a pivotal role in the New Products team. You will develop a best-in-class, user-facing product for Accounts Payables teams for our global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to spec, build, and ship innovative UI/UX
  • Implementing best practices in our frontend practice, including proper testing, shared component/styling libraries, and speed and performance
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end with back-end functionality
  • Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning sessions
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members
  • Creating new modules for upcoming products

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-time industry experience and a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, ICT, Software Engineering or other relevant field
  • A proven track record of being an individual contributor in a software engineering setting, building products for users
  • Experience in the Angular & Typescript ecosystems
  • Experience with working with APIs (GraphQL, REST)
  • Experience with component libraries a plus - Material, tailwind, etc
  • Experience with C#/.NET is a plus
  • Ability to implement new features from end-to-end: matching design specs, and adapting to our existing tech stack
  • Experience with SCRUM methodology using Azure DevOps
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, fostering cross-team cooperation.
  • Be fully available and reside in the Eindhoven area.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Dutch is a big plus
  • A drive to learn and develop yourself

About Us

SpendLab assists more than 170 government and commercial clients in helping them find and recover overpayments. Our team builds state-of-the-art technology systems that uses over 450 in-house developed algorithms and models to investigate large-scale accounting data and identify improper cash flows within our client’s procure-to-pay processes. We scrutinize invoice and payment flows for both large private and public organizations, identifying discrepancies on a no-cure, no-pay basis. Additionally, we support organizations in achieving cost savings through procurement and process optimization.
